Today, we went to my parents friends house and we went out on their lake, and blah blah blah...I got sunburned pretty bad on my arms and on my face.
I'm getting farther in my reading, The first task is only a couple of days away. So, the big questions that everybody are talking about...

I hate dial up. I feel bad for people that actually have to use it all the time.
So yeah, we're in Oakbrook, Illinois right now--right across the street from where we stayed when Katy and I stayed when we went to Chicago. Which means, the Cheesecake Factory is right in our parking lot. And condsidering we were driving here from St. Louis, we had to drive through Springfield-- home of Abraham Lincoln's tomb. My dad is so freaking retarded that he made us go inside it. It was big, and air conditioned. It blocked off the actual tombstone thing with a rope, but I stepped over it when Mum wasent looking, and waved at her. I told her about it afterwards, and she wasent really paying any attention. But yeah, it was stupid. So, in payback for that boring, pointless, nobody cares adventure, we're taking my dad to the Cheesecake Factory and making him eat a whole peice of cheesecake that mum and I will take great joy in picking out for him. (Those of you that don't know, my dad hates cheesecake.
It's so weird being here, becuase it seems like I was just here. Everytime I've seen a limo, I say "theres Oprah!"
We went to Nordstrum's Rack and TJ Maxx today, and I got a pair of cute blue jean kapris.
A couple days ago when we went shopping, I got a red Gryffindor track jacket, a John Deere bandana, and a Converse All Star Track Jacket, all from Hot Topic and for a frickin awesome deal.
I think thats about it.

So right now we're in St Louis, and reminded of why I hate dial up so much...yeah, long story. And its a freaking retarded screen name, too! Dad must think we're like, four.

We went shopping and I got a shirt from Hard Rock Cafe, and thats about all I've gotten so far. It's really cool though.
So as most of you know, my plan was to read Harry Potter 2, 3, and start 4 on vacation. Well I finished 2 yesterday, and today I'm halfway through 3, so I think I'm going to be farther along then expected. I still want to go to the midnight party at Borders. If anyone is thinking about going, let me know and we should go together.
Today in the car, I didnt get much reading done because Kristen let me play with her iPod and pick what songs we heard, and its pretty awesome stuff. I want one.

Sunday we're leaving on vacation, and I haven't even started packing yet. Maybe I should consider doing that sometime soon? Man, ALL my music is on my computer...I have to burn some of it to a CD and quickly! Times like these when I wish I had an iPod. Honestly. Also, speaking of CDs, I added four more to my list, and took off two.

Yeah, wow. That's a lot of CDs. I feel rather needy. It's just a list that I started for 'when i have money, i want to buy these CDs.' Cause I had the list going in my head and then I couldn't remember all of them! Okay, but yeah.
So Desperate Housewives wasent on last Sunday because of the stupid game. (yes, I dont care about basketball, so dont yell at me for calling it stupid) and I'm missing it this Sunday cause I'll be in Indiana.
I have a reading schedule. I started reading the first Harry Potter book, (and I'm on page 165/309) and I plan to finish it before I leave for vacation on Sunday morning. Then, I shall read 2,3, and start 4 when on vacation, and finish up with 4 and 5 after vacation, but before the 6th one comes out. As of tomorrow, (June 26th) Theres 20 days until it comes out! I want to go to the midnight party at Borders, but i'm not sure if my mum will let me, cause I dont think she'll be home for one, and two I dont think she would take me even if she was. *shrugs*

Alright, so I'm feeling better. I just have a sore throat, but at least I dont have a killer headache, or feel like throwing up.
Summer band was alright. I helped with the little kids, then warmed up in the advanced class on mallets, and sat back with the percussionists the whole time because I couldn't play baritone because my throat would explode. We left Eric a message on his cell phone and it was rather amusing. Katy didn't know it was his voice mail so she started talking like it was him and was all, "I cant hear you! You're so quiet!" and blah blah blah, and then shes like "OH!? it's a voicemail!?? hah..."
Then during the beginning trumpet class, Katy painted my nails pink. (Fun stuff)
I need to somehow get ahold of Kyle, but I'm afraid to call because his dad doesn't like me...

Okay, so here was my evenful night.
At 9:15, I tried going to bed, but I layed in bed awake for a half hour. So finally I came back downstairs, took some tyloneol cause I had a blazing headache, and got online. At 11, I went upstairs and tried sleeping again. I slept until about 12:30, and then I woke up. I tried to fall asleep again...for two hours I tried sleeping. Finally at 2:30, I get up and go into my parents room and tell my mom I cant sleep and that it hurts to swollow, my stomach feels all liquidy and disqusting. She tells me to go get more tyloneol. Around 3:15, I fell back asleep and then woke up sometime around 4:00 when my mom came in to check on me before she left for work, and I immediately fell back asleep. Then my alarm went off at 7:30, and here I am now. Needless to say, I still don't fell very well.

Yeah, so anyway. Today was fun stuff. At 4-ish, I went over to Katie Roan's house and at 5:45, we left for 'The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' and it was good. But more importantly, there was a preview for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire! Freakin' sweet! I can't wait until the next book and the movie. *Should* be awesome stuff, and lets hope so.
I have a headache, and I already tried sleeping but I couldn't get to sleep. So now I'm up and about talking to Eric, Chloe, and Katy stopped talking. (cause she's retarded like that--no, not really)
Anyone doing the parade on Saturday? I don't think I am, so somebody give me a reason to maybe do it.

So we got my dad Karaoke Revolution for X-Box today...bad idea. He had the volume on blaringly loud and is a very bad singer. So my mum is on the phone with her friend Tom Kaza, and he tells her to go to the basement and kill the power in the living room. So hes in the middle of singing Sugar Ray when it shuts off and he comes into the kitchen and asks who shut off the power. I point at Kathy, who points at my mom, who points at her cell phone saying it was Tom Kaza. So yeah..it was funny stuff. We also got him a DDR mat...so now we have two.
Somebody get me out of the house and SAVE ME! I'M AVAILABLE TO BE KIDNAPPED!

Summer band was fun. I played tambourine in the last song we played. I was going to play snare for a very easy song, but I decided I wouldn't because I didnt want to get in trouble with Mr. Gaston...again. (I tried to play percussion earlier this week and he yelled at Dayna and I to switch back...) I also took in the beginning low brass people one by one and checked that they were tounging right, and seeing if they could read music. I also took the beginning trumpet class and that was fun stuff. Then afterwards, I saw Kyle! and that made me happy.
Then I came home, baked a cake and talked to Eric and Chloe, and now I'm bored. Oh yeah, Sam called and talked about Summer Happening and *surprise, surprise* karate... *takes a nap, and picks phone back 10 minutes later and he's STILL talking...* (pretty much what happens when he gets on that subject)

I feel like I got a lot accomplished today. I got a new layout, (I swear I have A.D.D. when it comes to that...I made one last night and changed it today)played DDR, ran with my 2 lb weights to the end of the neighborhood and back, and now I just got out of the shower and done straightening my hair.
Oh, somewhere in there I forgot to mention I was making a layout for someone, and it ended up screwing up my computer...not cool. So I did a go-back to a couple days ago, and well, yeah. Didn't work. Maybe it wasent from making the layout or whatever, but like it really seems like it because it was working just fine until I tried to put the layout onto someones LJ...and even now when I try to view that layout, it freaks out on me. (needless to say, the person I made it for says it turned out really bad/not sized correctly...etc) But yeah, so now my computer is like, freaking out. Its taking like, ten minutes for internet explorer to load.
Summer band was fun stuff. I sat through the beginning trumpet class, and when Maye left, she handed me her trumpet and said "Watch this for me..." so I started playing what the little kids were playing because Allison, Amanda, and Dayna are also taking the class. So yeah, I think I'll do that tomorrow, too. It was fun stuff. Then at the end, I showed off "Go tell Aunt Rodey" to Mr. Wise, and Lyndsey (sp?) started playing it with me an octive higher, and it ended up to be a really cool duet.
And now I'm talking to Jeff...who apparently thinks everyone likes girls.

Guess who found their glasses! This girl right here. Yeah, good thing.
I helped Mr. Wise with the little kids today. Jessica Sturburg (sp?) is learning trombone and is helping the little 'uns as well.
I wish I could go to the marching band meeting tonight, cause last night it was fun stuff! Katie Banes locked herself in a locker (lol), I hung out with Kyle and Tena, we saw everyone driving! Like we saw Eric pull in with his mommy, Christena, and Allison. Yeah. So the music is really frickin cool. I think I played it well for sight-reading. No mixed-meter! Dang. I thought that was fun stuff. I'm the only baritone this year... I feel lonely.
My friends in my grade are finally coming into marching band, and its rather exciting! Like Karen, Katie Roan, Taylor, Connor, Russell, Mike, Nathan. (okay, so some of them arent in my grade, but they're still going to march, and its cool)
Better thank your lucky stars.
